Managing Data Governance Consultant

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with client to design, develop and implement data governance and data management processes
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop communication plans
  • Develop metadata management repositories (e.g. data standards or business glossaries)
  • Capture business/data quality rules & quality thresholds and designs DQ reports & dashboards
  • Partner with technical resources to implement rules in data quality and automate monitoring and reporting
  • Operate issue tracking processes and facilitate resolutions with the client
  • Show foundational knowledge of DG technologies for data quality and metadata management

Requirements:
  • Total IT / Business / Consulting experience: 7 years+
  • Experience delivering/running Information Governance / Master Data Management / Data Quality projects and/or programs
  • Strong banking business acumen, and an understanding of how data supports business processes
  • Information Governance, data quality and data risk management expertise, including understanding of data architecture, data integration, standards, methods, processes, tools, and controls
  • Problem solving, including technical, political, cultural, and implementation
  • Sound analytical skills to lead an analysis team and monitor team delivery performance
  • Strong consulting background and proven successful project track record
  • General team management skills, including leadership, staff / team development, and project management
  • Influencer of business and IT executives
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent Russian, at least intermediate English
