Your Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Employer Branding Manager, you'll be taking ownership of Japan's recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy as well as executing on clear deliverables. Applying your marketing discipline knowledge and client-centricity, you'll be designing innovative talent solutions and metrics-driven candidate experiences that help talent clearly understand the value inherent in a career at IBM. You will leverage your knowledge of social media, digital marketing, events and creative communications to bring to life our employer value proposition.
You will play a critical role in building upon the existing foundation and making IBM's talent marketing strategy an industry leading program as we continue to grow and scale for the future.
Over the first 12 months of this position, there will be four focus areas -
1. Help define and execute the employer branding strategy for Japan understanding the needs of country specific and business wide initiatives as well as be the trusted advisor to your Talent Acquisition Regional Leader in solutioning for their high priority areas of hiring whilst always aligning with global TA goals and priorities
2. Build key partnerships with Recruiting, Diversity and Inclusion, Marketing, and Communications, Technical teams, Key business unit stakeholders and employee resource groups to identify opportunities and solutions to support recruiting and brand goals
3. Ensure channel optimization locally is being executed as well as driving internal advocacy programs and initiatives such as the production of employee generated content as we aim to drive a localized content strategy for Japan to drive messaging to our key talent audiences
4. Understanding our key personas of hiring and being highly targeted in the way we create relevant content for campaigns and selective in the outreach of our content to ensure the correct content is optimized with our segmented target audiences in Japan
Lead, develop and optimize our digital portfolio to target active and passive diverse talent using channels such as career site, social job sites, job boards/niche sites, and develop programs using sponsored jobs, paid social amplification, local and global campaigns aligned to hiring needs in partnership with the Global Talent Marketing team. As well as executing on attraction methods such as event experiences both online and offline.
Be hyper focused on channel marketing best practices, drip and engagement campaign strategy, social channel landscape, and ensuring we are able to create content that resonates with our segmented target audiences
To track and evaluate metrics associated with recruiting and marketing campaigns in order to determine ROI. Develop and implement metrics to measure effectiveness and value of programs and best inform your local stakeholders
Manage the candidate experience of potential and future hires, using CRM technology to engage and nurture potential talent, including improving application experience for IBM job seekers to help drive better conversion rates
Engage with the IBM Talent Community, and collaborate to develop relevant materials and information to help optimize the hiring process while building IBM's recruitment brand equity
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years in branding/marketing, with employer branding experience preferred
Bachelor's in Marketing, Mass communications, Design, User Experience, or related field
Strong experience in strategic role previously, driving successful campaign execution and data driven marketing decisions to influence the output of talent marketing efforts
* Business level Japanese and English skill
