Your Role and Responsibilities

  • This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for ensuring the first class provision of print facilities in all of IBM's offices around the globe.
  • This includes an infrastructure of 6 data centers and 4000+ printers, along with leading a global team of technical staff. There will be opportunities to innovate within the current framework to further enhance service delivery and user experience.


Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  1. Leader and Motivator of the global team to keep them motivated and committed to the execution of the service/business strategy
  2. Experience of integrating and leading dispersed teams across geographies
  3. Excellent Track record of driving quality improvement
  4. A bility to identify, understand and communicate business needs
  5. A bility to interact well with senior management; strong presentation skills
  6. ITIL v3 awareness
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to new methodologies (ie Agile), cultural and legal diversity and various time-zones
  8. Experience in OS system support, Windows Server Admin, AIX System admin, Power HA, IPSec knowledge for the encryption from the print servers to the end-points (printers), Linux System Admin to support the Infosphere Guardium, Linux and basic level of understanding of Domino for the Mobile Print, SOCKS servers on Linux


Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • PMI qualified
  • People Management Experience (Direct & Matrix)
  • Excellent understanding of the IBM internal security policy
