Information Architect: Business Intelligence

The ETL Specialist will consult with analysts, data providers and business operations staff to understand and elaborate data dissemination requirements and propose technical solutions. Also, he/she will evaluate data product requirements from data providers and translate the requirements into technical specifications, define technical standards; evaluate alternative protocols, tools and standards, conduct root cause analysis and resolve production. Data Integration Specialist will primarily apply his/her technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.
At least one year experience in one of these tools:
- IBM InfoSphere DataStage (former Ascential) 7.x or 8.x
- Informatica PowerCenter 7.x or 8.x or 9.x
- Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SAS Data Integration
- Oracle Data Integration (ODI)
- Adeptia Integration Suite
- Data Services
- Clover ETL
- Data Migrator
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in Data Integration
- Experience in Data Modeling
- Knowledge and experience in RDBMS (DB2, Oracle, SQLServer, etc)
- At least 3 year experience in writing technical specifications
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
- Java 6 Standard Edition
- Good to have knowledge of UNIX
- Experience with JMS and WebServices
- Experience with Maximo, ServiceNow and Rational Team Concert
