IMAC Coordinator

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Planning • In response to business driven priorities estimates tasks, resources, timing and equipment. Documenting requirements/alternatives for approval. • Works with superiors in coordinating complex installation projects. Ensures that activities are performed effectively and efficiently to appropriate standards. • Manages implementation problems and escalates as appropriate. • Accurate planning documentation must be maintained and reports provided as required.

Operational advise/expertise • To provide consultancy (as required) on technical implementation process/procedures. The responsibilities include input into related process documentation. • Plans and coordinates less complex implementation/design standards. Provides assessment of strengths and weaknesses of various technical options.

Relationship Management • This role requires ongoing relationships with sub-providers. The role must assume responsibility for ensuring that sub-providers are advised in a timely fashion when variances to agreed processes need to be managed. Customer feedback is essential. Communicates at all levels both technically and in respect of administrative problems. Works closely with users on all aspects of requirements analysis. Gains approval of senior management for project/implementation related proposals.

SKILLS
Essential • PC/LAN literate • Technical Background (e.g. Communications/Computing) • Good interpersonal skills • Good written and oral skills • A good listener • Customer service orientation • Adaptable to change • Ability to work under pressure

Desirable • Highly motivated (a self starter). • Project management experience. • Ability/willingness to work extended hours during periods of change and high demand. • Pragmatic attitude towards problem solving. • Ability to learn new techniques and skills to address job requirements. • Proven analytical and innovative skills.

Experiences in planning, scheduling, prioritizing and coordinating IMAC (desktop system Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities
