Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you a sales professional who is as passionate about selling as you are about knowing your clients' business and industry? Interested in making a difference for clients with IT solutions that provide results - and a competitive edge? As an IBM Solution Representative/Brand Specialist, you're the expert.
The candidate should be highly skilled in the infrastructure sales arena with a demonstrated track record for success. Financial / business case selling translating solution benefits into quantified customer value is essential. Your ability to articulate that ""infrastructure matters"" leading to success selling analytics/Big Data, Cloud and AI infrastructure requirements is another big plus.
Accountability for business results as well as customer satisfaction are critical to this position. Working with cross brand teams and solution partners to drive greater opportunity pipeline is also a key requirement.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 7 years' sales experience with 4 years in IT Industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in competitive sales and business development skills
- At least 3 years' experience selling infrastructure, system z /mainframe or Power Systems experience is preferred, however training will be provided to the right candidate
- Experience in leading complex sales engagements both direct sales and in conjunction with IBM Business Partners.
- Demonstrated business acumen and C-level presence
