IBM Internship - Siebel Specialist

Job Description
The main responsibility as Siebel Specialist is to act as a bridge between the client's IT Business Analyst team and IBM development team. As a functional analyst, you will ensure that functional requirements are in line with the business needs and include all necessary dependencies, you will validate developments and offer second level support for client's Siebel applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering, clarification and validation of functional and technical requirements
  • Consult with development team and propose solutions that solve the root causes of production incidents
  • Create and perform integration tests
  • Follow tickets assigned to your dedicated perimeter from creation to resolution;
  • Offer functional guidance for assistance requests
  • Estimate and deliver on demand requests, such as data recovery
  • Detect patterns and propose proactive solutions
  • Create installation requests and offer support for deployments in production


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Attention to detail and very good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to adapt message according to recipient's profile
  • Ability to prioritize received requests depending on importance, impact and SLAs
  • Customer oriented


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience with Siebel or similar CRM product
  • Experience in support services, functional requirement gathering and testing
  • SQL knowledge
  • Familiarity with ITIL IT Service Management Processes
