We are looking to extend our UI development team with highly skilled and ambitious engineers to work on IBM's new integrated data platform.

Tasks


  • design and develop UI components and applications

  • review designs and code created by others

  • create technical documentation

  • cooperate with quality engineers to ensure product quality

  • resolve customer issues and implement their new requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • web development (specifically React.JS) skills (preferred 2+ years of practical experience with React)

  • Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture

  • Java -basic/intermediate knowledge

  • tooling: GitHub, Travis, Docker, ESLint, Webpack

  • attention to detail and fit'n'finish of the web applications

  • willingness to work in a diverse and geographically distributed team

  • graduate of Computer Science or equivalent

  • good command of English


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience


  • understanding of performance and security requirements for web applications

  • experience with test-driven development and DevOps
