EVP Sales Specialist

Job Description

The Sales Executive - EVP is responsible for identifying, progressing and closing, Enterprise Video Portal (EVP) sales opportunities with larger commercial customers. The selected candidate will work with other IBM Sellers and Brand Specialists, as well as extended team members in the Watson Media group. This position also requires developing a sales strategy for EVP and Watson Media to maximize revenue across multiple industries within the Fortune 1000 Enterprises in the UKI/Europe.
The Candidate will primarily focus in selling in the UK but may be called on to help support / progress opportunities in Western Europe.

  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals through prospecting and winning new revenue-generating relationships.
  • Be an IBM and industry thought leader on the future of Video and AI use cases
  • Utilize advanced sales, communications and business skills to position appropriate solutions, overcome objections/resistance and close the sale.
  • Determines customers' needs and requirements for internal and external Video use cases
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences
  • Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
  • Provides Sales information for management by preparing short-term and long-term Sales Plays roadmaps, and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
  • Assist Offering team and bringing new products to market by defining/creating proposed product requirements; preparing return-on-investment analyses
  • Introduces and markets new Watson Media products by developing time-integrated plans with Offerings and Marketing.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing market publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 15+ years of professional Sales experience in Video Solutions mandatory
  • Expert in the digital media solutions for large enterprises across multiple industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation experience
  • Ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and adapt to different work styles and personality types
  • Self-starter who is energetic & enthusiastic, confident, adaptable & customer-oriented
  • Metrics-driven, analytical with creative thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across various client groups
  • Good sense of humor and a passion for working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment
