Digital Logic Designer
IBM is seeking a Digital Logic Designer to work at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY.
You will contribute to the development of digital logic in advanced node technologies. We focus on circuit designs that enable the creation of differentiated solutions for a range of computation challenges. Key areas of interest include custom digital integrated circuit design, and power-efficient design. Familiarity with and experience in microcontroller design is a plus. Responsibilities will include RTL coding, placement-driven synthesis, logic debugging, power optimization, timing closure, verification, and hardware evaluation support. A track record of success in completing complex integrated circuit designs is desirable.
You should be a team player with proven writing and presentation skills, able to create and communicate technical ideas, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. This job will entail driving the development of new intellectual property. You should also have experience with relevant industry-standard development tools such as Cadence.
You must be able to work successfully with a diverse and dynamic team of both operational and technical personnel, collaborate with team members, work independently, and take initiative.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related area is preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
