DevOps Engineer: IBM Resilient , Galway

Your Role and Responsibilities
Located in Galway, Ireland, you will work as part of a focused team who will be responsible for architecting and developing the IBM Resilient product to be a highly available and horizontally scalable solution capable of running in any cloud environment on OpenShift. It provides a truly unique opportunity to join a successful, rapidly growing organization and fill a pivotal role in its growth and success. Applicants should have a bachelor's or a master's degree in computer science or similar fields.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in cloud software development
- Experience using & building Docker Containers
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration tooling.
- Experience of working with and developing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git etc.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures and RESTful web services
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with some of the following technologies/ willingness to learn the rest:
- Red Hat OpenShift & OpenShift Operators
- Migrating, developing or operating an enterprise application on a cloud platform (such as IBM Cloud, AWS)
- Monitoring & dashboarding tools such as Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana
- Programming experience in Java or Python
- Agile experience using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Strong Linux Experience
