The IBM Team has implemented a solution that encompasses DB2, WAS, JBOSS, Tivoli, Remedy and J2EE to support a US homeland security mission. DB2 Database Developer will help support, maintain and implement features requested by customer.

The DB2 Database Developer's responsibilities include:

  • DB2 database development to accommodate new functionality
  • Unit and integration testing of DB2 development work
  • DB2 & SQL Performance Tuning
  • Perform code maintenance based on problem reports and production issues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 4 years experience with DB2 development and administration
  • 4 years experience with SQL
  • 2 years experience with AIX
  • Active Secret security clearance


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Experience with WebSphere MQ/Adminin
  • Experience with WebSphere WMB administration
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence 10g Enterprise Edition
  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter 8.6
  • DB2 Data Architect experience
  • Experience with WebShpere Application Server (WAS) administration
