Job Description
The Global Credit Manager role in IBM Global Financing (IGF) is a Competency lead manager for Global Special Handling. Responsible for troubled account resolution minimizing losses and maximizing cash recovery. Includes providing direction, taking action and communicating status on a regular basis. Process owner for Focus Accounts, Lessons Learned and Watch list. Key interface to the IGF team regarding provision for doubtful account recommendations. As a second line manager this position includes people management.

The ideal candidate will have in an depth process management/lending knowledge, experience as a credit manager or similar special handling role, and have managed teams of at least 6 people or greater.

Work location is Armonk, NY

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

-At least 5 years experience as a Credit Manager or similar special handling role
-At least 5 years experience in Credit Process Management and Lending
-At least 5 years experience managing teams (size 6 people or greater)

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Masters in Finance, Accounting or Economics
