Collections: Portfolio Management Associate

Job Description

  • Initiate customer contact (via daily call goal) to manage collection process
  • Generate ideas and seize opportunities to drive reduction in DCSO and over 30
  • Review and analyze aged trial balance to identify priority accounts to conduct and facilitate collection efforts
  • Engage in customer interface to understand accounting, purchasing, and delivery processes and procedures
  • Account projections and analysis of accounts. Must understand internal operations to effectively recommend customer processing opportunities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 1 - 3 Years Relevant Experience
  • Proficient in all Windows Applications (emphasis on Excel and Access a plus)
  • Analytical, Assertive and Results Driven
  • Highly Effective Interpersonal & Communication skills
  • Fosters Creativity and Innovation
  • Strong Team and Organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Electronic Presentment and Payment Applications

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Multi-million dollar portfolio management with cash flow and aged transaction improvements
  • 1-2 years experience in Oracle AR
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
