CICS Transaction Server L3 engineer

Job Description
Job Overview:
CICS TS(Transaction Server) is the most profitable software on z/OS and IBM. It is the crown of transaction processing industry which guarantee many industries working well like banking, financing, securities, retailing and airline etc.
This position will offer the candidate great opportunities to build expertise in z/OS, CICS and banking industry as well as skills on customer support.

Job Responsibilities:
- Product development and technical support on CICS or z/OS Connect for world wide customer
- Trouble shooting defects a timely fashion and maintain our delivery on a high customer satisfaction standard.
- Provide innovative thinking to improve our product and solve complex problems from world wide customers.

Required Skills:
- z/OS related experience
- COBOL, PL/X, C programming

Preferred skills:
- Conceptual understanding of the z/OS major subsystems (CICS, IMS, DB2)
- Java/JEE skills
- Bachelor's Degree(Master preferred)
- Basic knowledge in software development
- English: Fluent

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of Java/JEE programming (ideally on z/OS but not essential)
- Exposure to WebSphere Liberty
- Understanding of REST/JSON protocol and message formats or some work experience with web services technology
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills and deliver fix with high quality timely.
- Well communicate with z/OS Connect world wide development teams and customers.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Preferred skills:
- Conceptual understanding of the z/OS major subsystems (CICS, IMS, DB2)
- Understanding of z/OS security systems (SAF) and network security protocols (SSL/TLS) is a plus

- Bachelor's Degree(Master preferred)
- Basic knowledge in software development
- English: Fluent
