Business Development Executive: Technical Support Services Solutions
The BDE role has the responsibility for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of TSS Multivendor Support Services business opportunities with key accounts, selected based on proactive market screening, targeting, and business analysis. As part of the mission it is included:
Development of extensive executive and senior management relationships in client organizations.
Prospection of large opportunities and collaborative work with other teams across IBM and with other partners and outside consultants as appropriate
On-going qualification of these opportunities and associated recommendations whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities to other IBM groups.
Opportunity ownership until formal sales engagement and facilitate the transition to the engagement team, remaining involved during the engagement phase, as appropriate.
The primary measurement is Contract Signings performance. Pipeline qualification is also a key metric.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong knowledge of Banking Industry with focus on ATM & Branch environment.
Relationship at executive and senior management levels with the Banking industry in Mexico.
Capacity to develop and execute strategy, tactics and negotiations in large engagements and critical situations.
Ability to create and define innovative and visionary business concepts. in a high competition environment.
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Accountable for business unit, major country, or international projects or programs. Responsible for committing multiple resources and achieving customer satisfaction, cost, expense, revenue and other business measurements of critical importance. Responsible for quality output/value add for highly visible products, services and future business development.
