IBM Haifa Research Lab is looking for a high end Researcher to join the Blockchain Fabric Research team. Researcher with innovation skills to bring technical novel ideas and solution for the next generations of IBM's Blockchain Fabric. Our team is working with the strategic IBM customers and business partners to bring cutting edge technologies and innovations to the market and embed them in next generation platforms and solutions.
The position entails the research, design and implementation of distributed systems to revolutionize state-of-the-art Blockchain technologies . We are focused on rapid prototyping, performance evaluation, and continuous releases into IBM's products, and solutions.
Key aspects of our research are aimed to be published and patented.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experienced M.Sc. or Ph.D in Computer Science or related Field
Proven Leadership record
Excellent research and self-learning skills
An excellent programming skill as well as research orientation, knowledge of Blockchain and distributed systems is an advantage.
Knowledge and research experience in distributed algorithms and systems, crypto currency or security.

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Experience with software development in a Linux environment desirable (Java, Go).
