Account Specialist Relationship Manager - Smyrna, GA

Job Description
The Account Specialist is responsible for the daily management of an account portfolio which is comprised of IBM Global Financing's (IGF's) inventory, accounts receivable, or special program financing customers.
The Account Specialist develops and maintains working relationships with numerous customer contacts at various levels in the organization (accounts payable through CFO or business owner) and serves as focal point for customer inquiries, requests and complaints.
This role may also monitor collateral position and collateral audits to ensure that all collateral requirements are adhered to and identified, reports on and drafts action plans to address potential and actual exposures.
They prepare materials for use in risk reviews conducted with local and senior. management and are responsible for territory risk management and customer satisfaction.
The Account Specialist ensures accounts operate within approved guidelines and obtains necessary approvals for exceptions.
They also keep customers apprised of the status of their account with IGF and its ability to support current and future financing volumes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in some type of customer service

  • Word & Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and as a group


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Collections 1 -2 + years
  • Experience in an office environment
