Job Description
The Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for order fulfillment transactions and full buyer purchase order placement, resolution of blocked invoices as well as receive help requests from internal clients and suppliers.
Operational Buyer roles and responsibilities
Review and understand requisition requirements, working efficiently with requester/client to ensure the issuance of accurate Purchase Orders to suppliers.
Process Purchase Orders as per documented procedures, within the established turn-around time
Trigger an effective execution of the sourcing process as required, according to the value of the purchasing transaction, through an adequate use of the available IBM and/or SAP tools and procedures.
Ensure audit readiness of all purchasing documents at all times.
Expedite Orders and returns upon request
Process requests for new suppliers set-up as needed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Proficiency with Spanish language

EDUCATION:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency with Spanish language
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting systems, processes and practices
- Ability to understand, define and work with accounting concepts, processes and operations
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on establishing and maintaining a strong customer service culture
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail, focusing on timely delivery of results

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIOR:
- Computer literate, familiar with spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- With good English communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Results-oriented
- Has the ability to work independently to conform to tight deadlines
- Highly motivated and proactive
