Job Description

We are looking for a data loving human, a spreadsheet & systems super hero, an extremely organized social justice warrior and an avid film & tv consumer. The Director of Impact Distribution oversees the vision, strategy and operations for the Screening Tours division of the Impact Distribution Team. This position oversees a team of 3-4 people and reports to the COO. The Director of Impact Distribution's role ranges from being hands-on with every screening host in the day-to-day work running screening tours, to high-level department and company strategy development, as well as some light business development support.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reports to COO
  • Responsible for working alongside the leadership team to refine department offerings and operations to aid with business development as well as implement new impactful and creative impact distribution strategies, initiatives, and best practices
  • Responsible for the success of Impact Distribution campaigns. This includes maintaining, measuring and reporting client happiness, quality of work, efficiency of project, strategy, timeline, and budget according to SOW and KPIs and campaign roles and responsibilities of staff while collaborating on project
  • Leads and often assists in the coordination and execution of the following impact distribution screening tour components:
    • Build and grow outreach lists and create an outreach strategy
    • Build outreach template and tracking documents
    • Tracking of screening progress
    • Management of Streak pipeline
    • Reporting to client
    • Coordination with hosts
    • Development of impact opportunities above and beyond screenings (swag, creative asset or social media initiatives, influencers and panels, etc.)
    • Wrap report + campaign close-out documents and procedures
  • Work with the leaders of the Impact Strategy, Impact Events and leadership team to ensure the departments work together efficiently and effectively on cross department campaigns
  • Be a proactive leader to direct reports and fellow campaign staff, always reinforcing an inspiring a supportive work environment and keeping a focus on department goals
  • Delegate weekly campaign and operational tasks to direct reports and fellow campaign staff in order to meet deadlines and weekly to-do's, while working closely with campaign managers and coordinators (managers of campaigns) to help them develop clear and effective campaign strategies
  • Perform review and sign off of all materials internal and external for managed campaigns demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control to ensure all deliverables are error-free
  • Be an active and exemplary user of mandatory company systems such as Asana, Streak, Google Suite, etc
  • Seek out and participate in industry opportunities that will benefit and advance the company and exhibit leadership via writing or speaking


Qualifications
  • 4-6 years experience
  • Experience managing at least 2 direct reports
  • Direct experience in independent film distribution, grassroots screenings or impact producing
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Highly organized and data driven
  • Must be able to attend (digital and/or in-person when deemed safe) screenings and events happening after work and on weekends
  • Experience managing multiple events simultaneously
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Sense of humor and fun to work with a big plus
  • Must believe in the power of story to create social change
