Business Systems Analysts Intern

Description

The Business Systems Analysts Intern will be required to assist with the daily maintenance and support of the environments supported by our Business Applications team and our Sharon Hill facility's technology. The intern will also be utilized in the project plans for the Business Applications' system development, updates, and changes. Core responsibilities include assisting users with their various technical needs, as well as daily periodical system checks and notifications. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, documentation maintenance, hardware and software installation, maintenance, updating, and replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Running periodical system checks and sending out team wide notifications
  • Bridging the gap between the Sharon Hill users and the IT Help desk at both Enclara and Humana
  • Assisting the Sharon Hill users with lower-level technology needs
  • Maintaining the Business Applications and Telecom teams' documentation
  • Maintenance and support of the printers at our Sharon Hill Facility
  • Maintenance, support, and replacement user technology at our Sharon Hill Facility as needed
  • Organizing and validating technology available in our storage areas
  • Preparing technology for our user base to utilizes, as well as various other responsibilities, during system upgrades and changes
  • Cultivating a relationship with other departments including two-way communication and resource collaboration. Including technical and operational departments.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • Enrolled in an Information Technology or Computer Sciences Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite (MSWord, MSOutlook, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, MSVisio)
  • Basic knowledge of information systems and computer technology

Physical Demands:

May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
