If so, the Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for managing all available resources to help achieve sales growth, improve results and operational goals within the assigned market while also helping to coordinate on a national level. You will maintain and support all external field sales resources within the market (individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners). In this role, you will also develop external market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Director, career markets, telesales executives and account executives, including all sales support. Responsibilities

You must be located in New Mexico and within a daily commutable distance to Albuquerque or be willing to relocate at your own expense. This position covers the state of New Mexico.

The BRM is responsible for hosting & coordinating (in cooperation with the local Career market team) all training opportunities for External Agents in the market, along with virtual/remote webinars etc. You will also work closely with other BRM's to support national and regional Partners to ensure there is a consistent Agent experience in all markets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in the Medicare industry with a focus on management/leadership
  • Active resident Health insurance license in the designated location
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build relationships with communities and medical providers.
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Prior sales experience in the health solutions industry
  • Prior experience with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • This position requires approximately 50% or more travel with some overnight stays
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
  • Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • You must be located in the Albuquerque, NM area or be willing to relocate at your own expense. This position covers the New Mexico territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance

Additional Information

  • Upon offer acceptance you must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification (paid for by Humana) prior to your start date in order to sell our products
  • Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.
