Our team is growing, and we are looking for an HRIS guru to be our Solutions Consultant. The Solutions Consultant is responsible for managing and directing all activities related to the implementation of Human Resource and Payroll systems. Work closely with the client to ensure that all goals, objectives and milestones are accomplished according to the desired future state and strategic objectives of the organization. Ensure that the system is implemented with best practices in mind and that it operates effectively and efficiently.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist client with development of solution requirements, workflow process and security requirements
  • Developing the project plan for large scale HRIS implementations
  • Manage project stakeholders
  • Manage the project team
  • Manage the project risk, schedule and budget
  • Manage the project conflicts and escalating where necessary
  • Communicate with Executive Sponsor regarding timeline issues and conflicts
  • Conduct conference calls with client to review project milestones and address concerns
  • Meet with clients at their location as needed or requested by the client or ihouse
  • Use independent judgment to adjust project methodology for individual clients
  • Act as a single point of contact for the client with ihouse.
  • Facilitate project completion analysis and make recommendation for changes to implementation procedures.
  • Coach and guide Associate Consultants within PMO
  • Work toward continual improvement of the overall organization
  • Complete Timesheets and Expense Reporting weekly
  • Manage Change Management documentation and customization
  • Vendor upgrade due diligence
  • Manage carrier/vendor relationship
  • Other duties as assigned

What you offer us:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing HR and Payroll operations
  • Experienced in managing complex human resource and payroll system implementations
  • Knowledge of various HRIS systems, preferably any or all of the following: UltiPro; Ceridian; Dayforce; Oracle; Workday; ADP
  • Experience working on change management activities in mid to large initiatives - technology implementations, process changes or organizational restructurings
  • Experience in building and implementing communications plans around change initiatives
  • Ability to drive to best solutions, manage to deadlines and produce quality deliverables
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • Communicate well with Project team members
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide range of sources, including senior management, project team, and other departments
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines promptly and efficiently
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to client staff/resources working on the implementation
  • Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings
  • Excellent leadership skills as well as provide direction and leadership to others
  • Competent technology skills using Microsoft Project, advanced knowledge of MS Word, Visio and PowerPoint are required as well as advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Travel required up to 60% of the time as dictated by client needs
