Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, you would work directly with clients, Account Managers, company underwriters, and claims representatives to grow a book of business and to sell insurance products. You would serve as a member of a growing agency with emphasis on client relations, service, and teamwork.


  • Outside new business sales solicitation
  • Meet mutually established activity or sales goals
  • Provide accurate quotes based upon complete information
  • Maintains prospect log in Pipeline System and reviews periodically with manager as necessary
  • Retains and services existing accounts, maintains direct communications with each client as necessary to retain and service those clients
  • Adheres to agency collections and other policies
  • Attend appropriate and applicable continuing education courses as needed to maintain position knowledge and licensing
  • Maintain quality relationships with insurance companies with which Hub International does business
  • Any other duties as assigned


  • 3+ years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance sales experience
  • 2-year or 4-year degree preferred
  • Strong sales aptitude
  • Disciplined, well organized, and self motivated person
  • Willingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new business
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and follow up skills
