HUB International is a leading global insurance brokerage that provides a broad array of property & casualty, life & health, employee benefits, investments and risk management products and services. We are currently seeking experienced personal lines sales agents for the call center in Chicago, IL.
As a HUB Personal Lines Insurance Agent you will be responsible for pursuing and closing new business sales. The agency will have campaign driven warms leads being routed to the call center to provide numerous sales opportunities. This position requires good communication skills and a thorough knowledge of personal lines products across the US.
  • Achieve established sales objectives and goals
  • Hit percentage goals for one call close
  • Reach on call target numbers
  • Maintain response rate for inbound calls
  • Contact new business prospects for outbound reach campaigns to provide quotes
  • Facilitate communication with prospected clients to determine insurance needs
  • Understand current insurance policies and assess gaps
  • Comprehend multiple carrier rates, coverages, limits, deductibles, discounts and plans throughout the US
  • Use consultative sales approach to present and close new business
  • Perform prospecting activities to generate leads
  • Licensed and proficient in personal lines insurance with minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Experience selling across US
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong communication and persuasive skills
  • Exceptional multi-tasking with superior prioritization skills
  • Flexibility with fast moving and change in business environment
  • Knowledge of Epic a plus
  • Comparative rater knowledge
  • Familiar with telephony system
