Position Overview:
HUB International's vision is to be the leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. HUB International Ontario is currently hiring a passionate, motivated and customer focused, Personal Lines Account Manager, working out of our London, ON or St. Thomas, ON office. This role is responsible for a combination of service and sales functions, working with both personal lines and commercial lines, requiring a dedicated team player attitude. The successful individual reports directly to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Service mainly Personal Lines accounts as well as some Commercial Lines accounts
- Provide clients with prompt, courteous and professional service
- Resolve client concerns and complaints while ensuring that excellent service standards are met
- Meet growth targets and sales goals
- Analyze client coverage, exposures and loss experience to determine risk requirements
- Prepare client pre-renewal and renewal packages, policies, submissions, binders, letters, summaries and invoices
- Review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Ensure effective workflow management
- Servicing Personal Insurance accounts as well as selling
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University Degree and/or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Personal and Commercial Lines preferred
- RIBO Licensed Preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience with EPIC or equivalent insurance broker management system
- CIP/CAIB/CRM Designation completed or in progress an asset
- Strong organizational, time and client management skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong team player and ability to work independently
- Proactive and resourceful, with strong customer focused approach
- Knowledge of diverse insurance policies and emerging insurance trends
