Operations Administrator

Position Summary

HUB International's vision is to be the leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for an Operations Administrator to provide effective operations support to the Wealth Management Employee Benefit's (WMEB) Practice in our downtown Toronto HUB International Office. If you are a detailed oriented individual and possess strong reporting skills, then this may be a role for you! Superior time-management, organizational and data management and reporting skills are essential for this position. This role reports to the Vice President, Operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Processing commission revenue and Reconciling commission revenue for two business units in Epic each week;
  • Preparing commission and forecast reports for the Finance department
  • Preparing and conducting compliance file audits in databases; track licenses/Continuing Education credits and reporting
  • Updating report information in MS Access databases
  • Updating new and renewal policy information
  • Ad hoc reporting as required
  • Preparing and completing quarterly file audits

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education or commensurate work experience;
  • Minimum 2 years' administrative, financial or operations support experience
  • General bookkeeping knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proficient in MS Access databases
  • Strong data management and reporting skills
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and critical degree of accuracy in data entry
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience and management of highly confidential data
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently
  • Ability to exercise initiative and follow up skills
