Mortgage Tracking Projects Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION (SUMMARY, SCOPE, PURPOSE)

Responsible for accurately keying insurance documentation, loan related forms and reports into a loan tracking system; utilizing an imaging system; meeting turn around times for completion of reports in accordance with the run reports, goals and service commitments. This position also requires an excellent working knowledge of a Windows computer environment & Office software with a heavy emphasis on Excel. Excellent communication and organization skills are a must as this position will require daily communication with clients as well as the responsibility of managing a shared inbox.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and update insurance reports in proprietary loan-insurance tracking system
  • Accurately complete all assigned tasks and/or additional tasks if needed
  • Maintain a monthly assessment average of 90% or better
  • Initiate and sustain communication with clients and employees, as needed, to maintain accurate information in insurance tracking system
  • Maintain necessary relationship with clients and employees to ensure quality customer service standards are met
  • Maintain a working knowledge, grow expertise in mortgage insurance and lending
  • Manage shared inbox of client and agent emails by importing documents and reports and assuring completion
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned by management
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Prior insurance data analysis experience
  • Knowledge of mortgage agreements, lending
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Strong communication abilities, especially written
EDUCATION DESIRED
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of Windows computer environment & Office software
  • Skills testing may be required prior or during the interview process
