In this role, you will:

Pivotal to your success will be your ability to develop relationships with clients from the start, discovering their goals and challenges. Your activities also will include:
Successfully and strategically service and maintain assigned book of business;
Serve in an advisory capacity for clients;
Manage the entire renewal process;
Advise clients in reducing costs while offering competitive benefits options; ;
Build relationships with clients through proactive communications;
Communicate and educate clients on latest trends, concerns and changes in the industry;
Demonstrate abilities to handle complex accounts and higher service deliverables;
Complete assignments as assigned by manager;
Be available and assist in closing new sales opportunities by presenting the company's service capabilities;
Successfully help onboard new clients.
Work towards overall improvement of the organization.
Project manage the execution of the client's strategic plan
Develop and manage benefit planning calendar (ongoing)
Manage and coordinate face-to-face meetings including; setting dates, making travel arrangements, providing agenda's, following up with deliverables/meeting notes
Work with client servicing team to assist in preparation for all meetings
Provide Compliance/Legislation updates including impact to clients, (e.g. Legislative briefs, ACA checklists)
Review all benefit documents (contracts, SPDs, SBC's, etc.). Use legal support/third party resources when necessary.
Complete annual plan assessment comparing client benefits to annual benchmarks
Host open item calls and manage log based on client needs (e.g. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
Manage vendor performance and client satisfaction (implementations, assisting and resolving eligibility, billing and claim issues)
Assist with Request for Proposal process: plan comparisons, questionnaires, etc.
Coordinate benefit communications with Communications team (Open Enrollment Guides, Newsletters, Wellness Campaigns, online enrollment)
Assist with renewals, plan changes, rates/contributions, annual enrollment
Plan/Coordinate/Conduct client employee meetings to communicate benefit program information
Manage New Hire Enrollment and Termination Process either via Online Web portal or Carrier portals
Continually evaluate most efficient process of doing job and utilizing associate client manager and administrative admin when appropriate
Complete plan comparisons for clients when in Acquisition review
Proven project management skills: manage multiple clients with multiple plans and multiple vendors efficiently
Maintain required data in the agency management system and electronic filing
Manage internal client servicing team members to meet client deliverables and deadlines
Extensive work in excel spreadsheets for financial and budgeting illustrations
Experience in managing self-funded plan designs Ability to work with multiple team members on multiple clients

Above average telephone techniques and the ability to effectively communicate with prospective and existing clients as well as, other staff members
Ability to see "the big picture" when working with clients to understand how their plans work to meet their business goals
Ability to understand group benefit contracts and coverage descriptions
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Willingness to attend educational classes desired
High attention to detail essential
Ability to organize large volumes of information and set priorities
Adhere to highest ethical standards
Ability to travel – some overnight travel required
