Profile Summary
As a Commercial Lines Insurance Leader for a high volume, fast-paced location, you will collaborate and work closely with the Personal Lines Insurance Leader in Operations, to motivate and coach your team to create a positive client experience. Your passion for people development partnered with your strong, technical acumen will be instrumental in leading a team of approximately 40 account managers and assistants.
People Leadership:
  • Drive talent management through high employee engagement, effective recruiting, people development, and career planning
  • Tap into people potential by commitment to personal and team growth
  • Foster and support a positive employee experience
  • Identify and develop future commercial talent and leadership
Insurance Retail Operations and People Development:
  • Work with the Sales Leadership in helping them execute on the annual business plan, to maximize opportunity for growth and create high service standards including:
  • Business retention
  • Client experience
  • Staff Engagement
  • Staff Training and Development
-Inspire your team to excellence in order to deliver a memorable client experience
-Actively participate in both the business and industry communities to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and organization
-Monitor P&L statements and take appropriate corrective action when necessary to ensure targets are met along with the Personal Lines Insurance Leader
-Manage day to day commercial aspects of the branch including:
  • Corporate branding
  • Profit & Loss statements
  • Staffing
What you bring to the role
A successful candidate thrives in a team orientated and dynamic environment. Your strong team development and organizational skills allow you to juggle multiple competing priorities and follow up on commercial activities daily. You have proven experience in the commercial insurance industry and a track record for leading team success.
  • Minimum 5 years in mid-level to senior commercial insurance brokerage experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing a team
  • Level 2 license
  • Industry designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM)
