Claims Administrator

Progressive/Pacific Home Warranty (PHW) is looking for an outgoing and customer experience focused individual to join our Claims Team. This position will offer you the opportunity to become an expert in the unique new home warranty insurance industry. You will learn about the regulations and requirements of the home warranty and home building industry. This career will build upon your customer experience and communication skills as you interact with builders and homeowners, as you assist in answering questions and setting up new claims under the home warranty insurance policy. Your interactions will assist in educating others about the intricacies of new home warranty insurance while sharing your knowledge of the claims process.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support homeowners and builders in understanding the new home warranty insurance claims process and how to make a claim.
  • Assist your Claims Team by managing the incoming calls to our claims line.
  • Open submitted claims in our online system and get them off on the right track.
  • Learn everyday and share your knowledge of new home warranty insurance claims with others.
  • Computer skills as our system, our insurer's system, and our phone system is all computer based.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • 1+ years of experience in the insurance industry or construction warranty claims fields. (preferred)
  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance Agent License (preferred)
  • High school Education. University Degree or Insurance Designation (preferred)
