Totten Insurance Group Company is growing and is looking for a strong Processing Clerk (Bilingual Accounts Assistant) to support Totten nationally. This is a fast paced and growing environment and requires strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. This is a great opportunity to support a growing team and be part of the continuing success of one of the leading Insurance Wholesalers in Canada. The preferred candidate will be self-motivated, and key focus will be on unpaid accounts and follow up with our brokers for timely payment.
Responsibilities:
- Review unpaid accounts over 60 days
- Review unreported transaction discrepancies for Lloyds and work with the underwriters to have them fixed and reported
- Communicate with producing broker to find why payment is delayed
- Work with in house underwriter if problem is with Totten
- Process adjustments and reconciliations in TAM
- Establish a follow up procedure with delinquent brokers.
- Help with the production of in house bordereau
- Support processing when needed
- Providing support to various Vice Presidents
- Other duties as may be required

- Bilingual in English and French: Strong oral and written skills are required
- Experience in the Insurance industry desired
- Accurate data entry experience
- Prior accounts receivable clerk experience an asset
- Experience with TAM and Policy Works Insurance Systems desired
- Prior experience working for an Managing General Agent (MGA) an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong sense of urgency and results focused
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-deadline and fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving abilities
