In this position, as the Associate Project Manager, you will have an opportunity to help our team elevate the human resources function in organizations throughout the United States.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Project Managers with the development and execution of solution requirements, workflow processes, and security requirements
  • Maintain the project plan and associated documents for large scale HRIS implementations
  • Conduct research, development, and resource coordination to support project activities
  • Document meetings and provide meeting summaries as necessary
  • Design project templates and create presentations and reports
  • Review project deliverables and maintain the project information repository
  • Escalate issues to Project Managers as required
  • Assist Project Managers in resolving project conflicts, identifying resource requirements, and aligning project team with project scope
  • Serve as client resource and provide back-up to the primary and more senior level Project Managers managing the project
  • Participate in continuous improvement tasks specific to PMO department and overall organization
  • Assist Project Managers with Change Management documentation and customization of client plans
  • Assist with vendor upgrade due diligence
  • Assist Project Managers with carrier/vendor relationship management

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from accredited four-year college or university or 1-3 years related experience
  • Demonstrated experience in administering and/or coordinating HR and Payroll operations
  • Knowledge of HR systems and related interfaces
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide range of sources, including senior management, project team, and other departments
  • Ability to meet with clients at their location as needed
  • Ability to use independent judgment to adjust project methodology for individual clients and work with Project Managers to formally communicate changes
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines promptly and efficiently
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Competent technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Open to traveling up to 60% of the time for clients
