Assistant Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Assists Commercial Account Managers by processing changes and renewals, by doing rating and/or data entry, making calls to clients or company, or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by the CAM.
Maintains system in an orderly, up-to-date manner.
Processes change requests for auto and types ID cards on the same day as requested.
Processes change confirmations on the same day as requested.
Processes confirmed cancellations on the same day as requested.
Seeks advice from CAMs with any problem with their accounts.
Maintains working knowledge of all company change procedures.
Assists or fills in for Commercial Account Manager as directed.
Inputs late-payment notices, direct notice of cancellations, and payment-received notices into the agency automation system.
Processes work assigned by CAM according to the timelines outlined in the procedure manual
Maintains working knowledge of all rating products and processes backup rating when needed.
Performs other functions as assigned by management.

Self-starter, imaginative and creative, with good verbal and written communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, AND ABILITIES
The person filling this position must be organized, a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills. This position requires the employee to sit up to eight (8) hours a day, work on the computer or other office equipment up to eight (8) hours a day, and the employee may be required to work beyond an eight (8) hour business day occasionally. This position is fast-paced and requires someone who is comfortable in a multi-tasking environment.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The person filling this position must have a high school or equivalent degree. Additional skills required include the ability to use a personal computer, calculator, agency automation systems, and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office: (Outlook, Word and Excel).
