Account Executive (EB Wholesale)

The functions and roles of this position include:

To service existing accounts and coordinate account activity:

  1. Work within a fast paced team environment supporting Vice President of Sales and reporting to AVP of Service and COO, Sr. VP of Operations.

  2. Service and monitor in-force accounts and disseminate account activity

  3. Evaluate existing coverage's and make recommendations as needed

  4. Receive, review and forward, policies and other documents as necessary

  5. Scrub and submit requests for proposals

  6. Go out on Sales and Enrollment Appointments with clients

  7. Manage renewal process

  8. Interact with carriers regarding submissions and escalated complaints

  9. Prepare benefit and cost comparisons using quoting system and/or excel spreadsheets

  10. Process new business (on-boarding of cases)

  11. Respond to service inquiries

  12. Update internal reporting systems and internal databases (as necessary)

  13. Prepare and validate accuracy of end of period reporting for Sales VP and COO.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years experience with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages (knowledge of NY construction a plus), Professional Lines, E&O and D&O
  • Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
  • Computer literacy - Proficient in MS Office in particular, Excel
