Account Administrator

Position Summary

HUB International's vision is to be the leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for an Account Administrator to provide effective back office support to the Wealth Management Employee Benefit's (WMEB) Practice in our downtown Toronto HUB International Office. Superior time-management, organizational and data management and reporting skills are essential for this position. This role reports to the Vice President, Operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the Benefits Analysts and Account Managers to service and retain WMEB customers
  • Ensuring that all processing and investment documentation is accurate and processed in a timely fashion
  • Reviewing, processing and preparing files for benefits for new business and renewals
  • Maintaining and updating client files, including completing activities in Epic: broker management system
  • Assisting in administration of cross/upsell of WMEB benefits products to existing clients; preparing new business quotes and providing to Account Managers for presentation
  • Monitoring Account Manager production and provide ad-hoc reports as required
  • Conducting account file audits to ensure all required documentation is properly stored and accessible
  • Coordinating with insurance carriers as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education or commensurate work experience;
  • Minimum 3 years' in similar administrative or account support experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong data management and reporting skills
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and critical degree of accuracy in data entry
  • Strong time management skills and ability to deliver within established deadlines
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently
  • Strong customer service skills
