Worldwide Paid Social & Measurement Manager

Position Overview:

This position plays a critical leadership role in evolving and optimizing social media efforts across the HP marketing organization by driving the development and enablement of our in-house paid social and measurement strategy on a global scale. This role will own the strategic and operational vision that establishes the global social media team as a true center of excellence in paid social and measurement capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a critical evolution of our social media strategy to support a truly audience-based orientation
  • Drive a cross-functional process that enables mapping of paid social campaigns and always-on programs across regions and countries to prioritized target audience segments, assessing and refining target segments where appropriate
  • Coordinate across the marketing organization - business unit marketing teams, media team, and external agencies - to provide a broad and detailed picture of all paid social activity
  • Drive the implementation of HP's in-house paid social capabilities within the regional/country social teams, guiding the development of training programs and formalized playbooks that reflect best practices
  • Drive the production, analysis and distribution of social reports to facilitate optimization of always-on social and campaign activations
  • Coordinate and compile data from various sources to surface insights at the WW, regional, and country level
  • Translate reporting insights into action plans that help to ensure all social efforts stay true to the strategic social vision and platform strategy

Qualifications:

  • BA with a degree in Marketing or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant media experience with both broad and deep understanding of social media, social/video advertising, partnerships
  • Proven strategic, analytical, data-interpretation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet ongoing deadlines
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications, social platforms, social measurement tools
