Senior Financial Analyst I – Technical Accounting


  • Research accounting literature and apply technical standards to complex business issues and transactions
  • Prepare written accounting memos on an annual, quarterly, and as needed basis
  • Draft financial statement disclosures as appropriate
  • Review and propose updates to HP's internal accounting policy documents as appropriate.
  • Monitor the latest accounting pronouncements from the FASB and assess the impact on the company's financial statements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • First level university degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 7+ years of accounting/finance experience with public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Ability to analyze and interpret accounting literature to support technical accounting conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
