The Retail Account Manager will be responsible for retail management function defining and managing the sales of products in selected countries of East Countries Groupe region (Ukraine)

The Retail Account Manager will be in charge of the Profit & Loss of HP product lines driving results by direct and indirect influence on pricing, programs, sales force (direct and indirect), distribution/sales strategy and marketing campaigns in order to meet or exceed targets on revenue, profit, channel inventory, market share and partner satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities are product management, business planning, Profit & Loss Management and Business Development:

  • Manage several key retail accounts in Ukraine
  • Be the trusted advisor, maintaining and developing strong and long -lasting relationships to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Define, plan and secure premium presence with each retail account
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations of progress, measures and forecasts
  • Support demand planning to ensure stock availability
  • Perform regular visits to retailers to ensure market knowledge is current
  • Create collaborative joint marketing plans
  • Manage accounting claims with the relevant teams
  • Travel 60%+ of the time, meeting with Partners in Ukraine
  • Consistently achieve/overachieve targets/KPI's
  • Develops account plans with a partner to grow HP's share of the business

Education & Experience:
  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Solid experience in selling to retail partners in a complex environment
  • 2-3 years of experience working with IT/CES retailers (UA retailers)
  • 3-5 years of selling experience at an end-user account or partner level
  • Solid experience in the IT industry
  • Knowledge of the competing vendors and the channel of Ukraine

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Solid knowledge of the IT industry, competing vendors and the channel in Ukraine
  • Business planning skills, multidimensional
  • Financial planning and modeling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting
  • Strong communication skills in senior management internally and externally
  • Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices
  • Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners
  • Leadership skills and cross-functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing, ops)
  • Fluency in English and Russian (knowledge of UA language is preferable)
