MPS Deal Assurance Specialist (EMEA)

Today HP is a $50+ billion fortune 50 company with just under 50,000 employees worldwide across 190 countries. HP is about innovation, it's who we are and what we have been doing since 1939, we keep reinventing ourselves. Together we challenge convention, pushing each other to surprise the world.

Managed Print Services (MPS) provide an optimized print environment for Enterprise customers, including imaging and printing devices, software, supplies, management and support, assessments, and workflow processes. MPS is part of the Print Services organisation sitting within Imaging, Printing & Solutions.

The Print Services EMEA Deal Assurance team represents the delivery organisation in strategic pursuit opportunities, working alongside the pursuit teams to ensure the costs and delivery methodologies are defined. Once the contract is signed, the Transition & Transformation team coordinates all deployment activities across multiple countries to implement the new MPS contract.

Responsibilities

The Deal Assurance specialist performs two roles that are linked to the different service deliverables in the delivery organisation. They require involvement of different internal stakeholders, but should be presented consistently in front of pursuit teams and customers.

Role 1:

Working as part of the value services team in EMEA, the role will be to influence and coach the sales and pursuit teams to utilise standard Value service deliverables wherever possible in customer proposals (Product ordering/leasing, Account Delivery Management services, Reporting, fleet optimisation, helpdesks, transition and transformation). Where the customer requirement varies from the standard service methodology, the successful applicant will be expected to design and document the service process alongside subject matter experts and ensure it is costed appropriately.

Role 2:

Working as part of the CS Managed Services Tower in EMEA, the role will be to influence and coach the sales and pursuit teams to utilise standard Volume service deliverables wherever possible in customer proposals (Call Management, Break-fix services, multi-vendor services, solution support, supplies delivery).

The roles will stay engaged throughout the sales cycle ensuring any changes in the solution during the negotiations is appropriately reflected in the service design and the costing provided to the pursuit team. It is expected that the role will also progress into risk management and service delivery resource sizing as the experience of the individual grows and the sharing of skills and workload develops across the wider team.

As expected of a pursuit team, there will be periods of pressure as deadlines approach and working outside of normal office hours during these periods is not unusual.
