Line Lead Technicians support R&D inkjet development through the safe operation of semi-automated equipment and processes in a cleanroom environment.
Please note that this position will be working non-standard shift hours (swing or graveyard shift)
The role of a Line Lead Technician is to safely operate FAB (Integrated circuit manufacturing cleanroom) equipment in a reliable manner. This equipment is semi-automated but may require limited non-automated performance as needed for R&D objectives. Daily responsibilities will include qualifying and monitoring the proper function of the equipment as well as the monitoring of the product through inspection and SPC (Process control).
Technicians will need to partner with peers to be successful in their role, which will require a positive attitude, good communication, time management, flexibility, and dependability. Lead technicians will be required to have a good understanding of line management and may help coordinate the daily roles of other technicians and contract employees. Pertinent issues will need to be communicated both verbally and written to management, maintenance, and engineering partners.
Education and experience desired:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field. May include experienced individuals performing applicable work who are non-degreed, or degreed in an unrelated field.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- Able to work in cleanroom environment (Cleanroom suit is worn). May include standing, sitting, able to read prints and understand written theory of operation.
- 2+ years clean-room related experience or similar technical environment.
