Legal & Regulatory Compliance Data Architect

The successful candidate will have experience working with multiple disciplines where their business process knowledge and analytical skills are proven and strong, and as such is a key contributor to successful and timely completion of projects.

The individual should have sufficient experience and maturity to be able to work independently and multi-task, with an extended multi discipline team with support and guidance from manager. The candidate must possess strong English writing and verbal skills, with proven experience in succinct executive level communications.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.


  • Manage all due diligence related screening data and data infrastructure (reporting dashboards, partner data, including contracts, revenue, and Partner First)
  • Actively participate in defining the data requirements for the Next Gen Anti-Corruption transformation initiative
  • Define and model the scope and partner candidacy for the partner due diligence program
  • Lead highly complex, time sensitive Senior Level Results and analysis
  • Interact with cross-functional, cross-regional teams across various business functions
  • Counsel business leaders and recommend data based solutions for executing high-level strategies and develop creative solutions
  • Manage L&R Databases and provide technical and SQL support
  • Evaluate off-the-shelf/custom data processing packages to collect, store and transform compliance data
  • Define new and optimize existing standard data queries, to enable business users with relevant data feeds for timely business decisions
  • Optimize data extracts from new/existing datamarts/databases, dashboards, reports, data models and scorecards on Qlikview or other similar data visualization tools
  • Work cross-functionally with business users to define data needs, data queries and metrics
  • Create and maintain documentation on current environment, data locations/sources and models
  • Conduct training sessions on tools and data accessibility
  • Research and experiment with the latest analytics and data technologies – deliver POCs in support of new data models/tools
  • Collaborate and align with other internal and external Analytics & BI teams to drive continuous improvements in metrics quality and processes
  • Define data governance and operating model

Education and Experience Required


  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years' full-time work experience with data management and BI tools, including synthesizing data across multiple sources, extracting relevant information, and generating readable, understandable reports/dashboards
  • Experience customizing off-the-shelf products as well as custom development of tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL/Vertica and relational databases a must
  • Expertise with Qlikview/Power BI or similar visualization tool a must
  • Experience working with API and Token keys for single sign-on authentication
  • Proficiency in predictive analytics & modelling software such as R, Tibco, is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, includes verbal, written and presentation forms; strong influence skills
  • Ability to work with multiple functions and organizations across HP and deliver results
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and build structure, process of management
