HP, born in a garage and gone global, is looking for a junior brand manager for the office in Amstelveen/ Amsterdam - The Netherlands.

Experience

Ideally you have 1-2 years of working experience. You have experienced the drill in regards to working in a business environment, teamwork, building external relationships, managing or having worked at agencies during or right after university. Also you are familiar with the dynamics of marketing automation, data-driven performance and you are at ease working with numbers. In other words: build marketing programs that stand out in creativity and effectiveness. And be able to predict, optimize and realize outstanding results. You'll prove your contribution through measurable metrics that will set both your ambition and your rewards.

The role

In this role you will start as a Junior Brand Manager and from that position start your career at HP. You will support the Personal Systems (HP's Computing Business Unit) Country Marketing Manager with integrated campaigns, taking the lead on several projects and make sure project administration is done properly. This means proper briefings, the right goal setting, sharp analytics, helping find new route to markets and help our sales managers find new business opportunities. The role encompasses on both consumer marketing and commercial marketing. The projects vary from working with large social influencers, paid media to helping organize business events and webinars on HP Computing topics. In your role you will be closely working with the marketing managers for retail, Printing and Channel and the Communications Manager. HP is a flat organization that's very suitable for self-starters. You are familiar with Excel, dynamics, & marketing automation platforms. You have a true passion for technology.

HP Computing

In the past 2 years HP has changed the computing business by introducing very appealing campaigns like Premium and Gaming. Over the past years, people in these roles have worked on a variety of product launches or focused on bringing back to growth a stagnated product category. They did so by being less afraid of failure and eager to try new things, owning the details of a marketing campaign performance and building relationships with our social influencers. A few of them have been found having a sip with a movie director at Cannes film festival or a brainstorming weekend with insights and analytics team in an alpine chalet. Nothing is written in your day, except the high demand to perform.
