iMPS Pricing Strategist
HP's Indirect Managed Print services business (iMPS) is one of the fastest growing businesses inside of HP. The iMPS Pricing Strategist is responsible for defining, aligning, and implementing global pricing strategies across the services portfolio within the Indirect Managed Print Services Organization.
Working with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, marketing, and regional category teams), the Pricing Strategist will build financial models and make recommendations to senior management to inform portfolio decisions, rationalize new offerings, and enable achievement of long-term financial goals. The iMPS pricing strategist will work closely with the regional category teams to capture competitive pricing feedback, and to make recommendations on pricing adjustments to HP's Indirect Managed Print Services portfolio. In addition to insuring price competitiveness and the iMPS organization's ability to meet financial goals, the Pricing Specialist will work closely with the iMPS Future Portfolio Marketing team to identify new and innovative pricing/billing/financing structures that will add value to HP's iMPS offers.
- Responsible for defining and aligning global iMPS pricing strategy across iMPS portfolio
- Responsible for WW pricing catalog proposals and approvals for country-specific pricing catalogs
- Works with iMPS Future Product marketing team to build pricing proposals for new iMPS offers
- Works with regions, countries, global business units, finance, and operations on pricing related projects & implementation
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline (preferably finance, accounting, marketing or operations) or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Finance background or financial analysis experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong business application skills (e.g., MS Excel, PPT)
Strong communication skills
