Strategic Business Planner (chief of staff) – Job Description

In the Customer Insights & Experience (CIE) organization inside of HPSQ (Home Printing Solutions Quality) we are transforming ourselves to reignite global home and office printing by identifying, developing and driving insights and first to market, best-in-class experiences that customers will want, use and promote for generations

While managing our core business for the entire HPS business (Sprocket, Deskjet, Envy, OfficeJet, OfficeJet Pro, LaserJet 100 and 200 series):

  • Using customer insights to drive business choices in New Product Introductions & current products
  • Managing AIR/SER/warranty costs

You can play a critical role in the organization by being the strategic business planner. This role is responsible for putting in place strategic and tactical plans that help the business deliver on its goals and coordinating the CIE leadership team.

This role could be scoped at an Master or Expert level depending on your background and current level. This could be a great role if you are looking for a growth/breadth role to stretch and grow your skills and you are looking for new skills, management visibility and an opportunity to make a difference.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or MS in related discipline preferred.
  • 6-10 years of experience in a diverse range of business functions in a high tech environment
  • Proven track record of program leadership across multiple areas (either technical and/or business)
  • Prior experience in printing preferred

  • Organized, structured, yet flexible and able to juggle many competing priorities. Attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience preparing Executive Level presentations
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office tools (PPT and Excel)
