Global Experience Design Director, Commercial Printing

The Role:
- Strategically manage and drive global experience and design within a large-scale, mature, global business across commercial print categories
- Develop innovative, end-to-end experiences that drive engagement and loyalty for millions of users
- Lead a diverse design team through experience development cycles within a complex environment, from ideation to delivery
- Utilize modern user centered design process, based on deep data-driven insights, complemented with talented creativity to deliver amazing physical and digital designs
- Partner with Marketing, R&D and Operations teams to bring our experiences to life across the globe, with a consistent brand point of view
- Operationally manage design resources within schedule, scope and budget to provide efficiency and effectiveness while achieving design objectives

- Lead the team: Harness the capabilities of a globally diverse team, that are focused in:
- Industrial Design
- UX and System Design
- Experience Design
- Interaction Design
- Visual Design
- Services Design
- Research and User Centered Testing
- Push boundaries: Assess current and planned roadmap and recommend innovative designs and creative solutions
- Measure Success: Establish a frame to measure business success from the perspective of the user
- Establish and Develop the Team: Cultivate HP cultural values and stimulate creativity of the team while growing competency through your thought leadership

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction/Industrial Design or other design-related field
- Proven ability to lead a global team of creatives
- 5 years or greater of senior leadership
Organizational Alignment and Location:
- You will be a part of the Global Experience Design leadership team, reporting to the Head of Global Experience Design for Print
- The role is based in Boise, ID
