Work independently with R&D partners to understand requirements

Derive system solution objectives and architecture from the partner requirements.

Design system architecture which includes HW, FW & SW.

Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

Create and execute of test plans, protocols, and documentation.

Lead a project team of other systems engineers (HW, FW & SW) and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions.

Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

Provide guidance and mentoring to team member.

Education and Experience

Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation

Minimum 6 to 12 years' experience

In-depth knowledge on System design, Schematics design, Layout, Board Bring up & System Integration.

Hands on troubleshooting skills in a multi-disciplinary environment

Experience in leading multi-functional teams working on product development.

Knowledgeable on Product Development Life Cycles. Involvement from product conceptualization to product realization and deployment

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

Skill Set

Extensive knowledge in Hardware architecture and System design.

Extensive knowledge Verilog and System Verilog

Extensive knowledge in Altera and/or Xylinx FPGA and Tools

Extensive knowledge in Digital circuit design, FPGA related hardware designs and high speed interface circuits.

Extensive knowledge in board level Analog and mixed signal circuit designs

Knowledge of signal integrity and tools

Working knowledge of mechanical engineering desirable.

Working knowledge in Embedded C for Firmware development is an added advantage

Working knowledge in VC++ and .net is added advantage.
