As our Financial Analyst based in Rhodes, you will be responsible for providing reporting, insights and financial operational expertise to our sales, print and NZ Divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a recognized global market leader in a small but highly business orientated finance team.

If you are successful in gaining this role, you will have an opportunity to:-

  • Provide transactional and analytical financial support within the finance and business functions
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to actively ensure basic financial analysis needs are met
  • Be involved in business issues on a regular basis
  • Provide analytic support to business initiatives
  • Develop a deeper understanding of HP's financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business
  • Define the metrics required to measure business performance, comparing actual data to forecasted values, and develop the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps
  • Identify cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions
  • Contribute to proactive and reactive business planning activities
  • Assist in the Half yearly Budget Process
  • Provide analytics to support decision making
  • Be Involved in the month end close process (variance analysis, booking of journals, month end reports)

To be successful in this role, you should have:-

  • University degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience
  • Typically 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Preferably experience in more than one finance function
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of preparing financial reports and dashboards
  • Assist in the Half yearly Budget Process
  • Experience in providing analytics to support decision making
  • Experience of month end close process Strong collaboration skills
