Diagnostics Experience Project Manager

Description

Responsible for working with GBUs, regions, and other CS organizations to identify improvement opportunities as it relates to serviceability, diagnostics, issue resolution, and the customer's experience. Work with colleagues to develop, secure executive support for, and execute projects with other organizations. Contributes to the development of ideas and proposals to improve the support/service experience for customers and for HP (and partner) personnel. Proposes solutions, develops business case including stakeholder analysis and risk assessments associated with various alternatives

Applies business acumen, data analysis skills, and research/interviewing capabilities to analyze business problems and discover root cause. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors to identify the causes for certain recurring business challenges. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Discovers and/or solicits ideas on improvements to the HP diagnostics & troubleshooting efforts across HP
  • Conduct competitive research and assessments
  • Leverage all types of data sources to develop and share multisource insights
  • Identify improvement opportunities and champion them
  • Identify and recruit project team members to develop business cases and implementation plans
  • Tell the story, distill results in a clear and engaging way to provide business recommendations
  • Develop presentations that are appropriate for an executive audience


Education/Experience Required
  • First level university degree
  • Masters degree a plus but not required
  • Engineering background desirable but not required


Knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated Leadership ability & initiative/proactive bent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great teamwork skills
  • Excellent Data analysis skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skills
  • Facility with database interactions a plus
