Current Business Manager

The Current Business Management team is part of the CPS Strategy & Current Business organization. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for the current business management of a set of hardware product categories. You will engage with regional category teams in addition to various other functional organizations (product management, R&D, HP marketing). You will engage in a mix of analytics, influencing and general business support in pursuit business success. The key responsibilities can be summarized into the following:

  • Work with region category teams to ensure budget deliver of concerned categories
  • Track progress against balance scorecard metrics and identify potential risks/gaps and develop mitigation actions
  • Support regions in in-market execution of the four Ps: Product, Price, Place and Promotion; identify gaps
  • Monitor product performance in the market place and, together with the regions develop and execute plans to meet or exceed Budget. Key performance indicators (Shipments, Revenue, Market Share, Profit, HP Owned inventory, Channel inventory)
  • Report business performance to executive level management
  • Provide executive level analytical support
  • Develop and execute ad-hoc business plans as requested by senior management
